IN THE BEGINNING

Before we dig into the verses in the Bible that I believe point to the possible origins of Bigfoot and its various species offshoots, let us look at what does the story of the Bible tell us and what it is all about. This will help to shed some light on how, why and where the big guys got a start perhaps.

I have written this so that I can understand it. As an Engineer I like things spelled out for me and appreciate when folks communicate with me in common terms and concepts. If anyone finds this a little basic then I will say in advance I appreciate your patience with me and  my writing style (if you'd call it that) . I'm certainly not at all moved by speech gymnastics, so this perhaps reflects my simplistic approach to things. Lets dig in....

Basically the Bible is all about a supreme being who is the God or Creator of all things and that He created everything at some unknown time before the 6 days of creation that starts in the book of Genesis. Many believers or "New Earth Believers" feel this happened some 6000 years ago, because as is said in ...

2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Bible doesnt actually come out and say how old the earth is specifically and I personally don't think the Bible actually is in contradiction to science per say, I feel the two can and DO compliment one another. In my own personal observations I disagree with "Evolution" however I do believe that there are variation or adaptations of a species that do take place. So I am clearly in the bag for "Intelligent Design" I believe we have been engineered by the being known in the Bible as God the Creator, but lets look at the opening line in Genesis to see how and when the earth began was some unknown time ago.

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

As seen here verse 1 and 2 denote the creation of the earth and that it was without form and void, however it is not known nor is it stated exactly how much time has passed during these two verses, which can effectively put to rest the contention that the Bible contradicts the age of the earth. It simply does not.

OK so what in the heck does this have to do with Bigfoot?

Hang in there were getting there in a little bit, but before that lets get back to the narrative of the Bible. So The Creator has built this planet to be hospitable to life also known as His creation. What is not gleaned from Genesis is that there was an actual "Earth Age" prior to this one we live in now, that is discussed later on in the Bible in the New Testament. It was during this earth age that all the life forms were what are referred to as Angels. At this time there were no flesh and blood bodies as we inhabit them today in this age, and there was one name Lucifer who was one of Gods favorite, who was held in the highest regard and was also brilliant in mind an in body and when God decided he was going to create man in his image to be a little less powerful than the Angels were, but that man were going to be even greater than the Angels over time. This infuriated Lucifer and he drew 1/3 of the population of the other Angels in a war against God and he was defeated at that time. God found evil and iniquity in Lucifer's heart and had to deal with him.

So again..what's this have to do with Bigfoot? sheesh!

Also of interest to some may be that Adam and Eve were not the first humans created that in fact all males and females were made on the 6th day and on the 7th god rested...then on what could be considered the 8th day he made Adam, and then later Eve from the rib of Adam seen here in the scripture we can clearly see this. This is not generally taught in the churches if today and it is no wonder people do not understand nor wish to learn what's really in the Bible...

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Possibly a 1000 year period according to what was shown above
1 year is as a 1000.
Now for the 7th day...

Genesis 2
2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,
This concludes the 7th day, and as it states the heaven and the earth were finished, and when it states "he had rested from all his work" this is to mean he was finished creating except God had to make Adam who was made to be the direct descendant to the main character of the Bible Jesus Christ.... and so what would be the 8th day begins as such...
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

So your saying...OK man! So what's this have to do with friggin' Bigfoot!?

Here's where things start to get interesting since the chronology to Christ has been created here now in Adam and Even, and they essentially have the first burden that we know of to make the ultimate choice over The Creators plan or the plan of Lucifer , and what does Satan do... he begins his attempts to taint the blood lines through his temptation offer to Eve. It is called the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and Eve falls hook line an sinker.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes*1, and a tree to be desired*2 to make one wise*3,
she took*4 of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Explanations from above verse: I think you will find that this is certainly no ordinary tree, for it wasn't a tree at all, it was satan. *1 pleasant to the eyes = Hebrew word #2530; chamad: To desire, to covet, to take pleasure in, to delight in, to be desirable, to delight greatly, to desire greatly, desirableness, preciousness.*2 desired = Hebrew word # 8378 ta'avah (tah-av-aw'); from 183 (abbreviated); to yearn for, to lust after (used of bodily appetites) a longing; by implication, a delight (subjectively, satisfaction, objectively, a charm): a desire, a wish, longings of one's heart; lust, an appetite, covetousness (in a bad sense), to covet, to wait longingly. *3 make one wise = Apple trees don't make you smart. But satan can fill your mind with evil 'wisdom' and evil thoughts! *4 took = Hebrew word # 3947 laqach (law-kakh'); a primitive root; to take (in the widest variety of applications): to take, to lay hold of, to receive, to marry, to take a wife, to take to or for a person, to procure, to get, to take possession of, to select, to choose, to take in marriage, to receive, to accept.

This sure doesn't sound like a girl just enjoying an apple to me! No, this is far more than an appreciation for fine produce. Does the account above sound like someone eating an apple to you? Of course not, but you have probably been lied to since Sunday School about what really happened in the garden of Eden. This seems to be exactly what did happen, over six thousand years ago in the Garden of Eden that day, and also why it happened.

Satan here is a deceiver and a liar, and he has many names and roles he has played throughout history, but it is always the same entity! but it's the same entity that was in the Garden with Adam and Eve. By the way, I haven't seen the word 'apple' mentioned in these scriptures yet, have you? You won't either, nowhere in Bible does it say that Adam and Eve ate an apple! Yet we see modern religious paintings showing Eve holding an apple. Why?

Why did the false teacher choose an apple? Why not a peach or a lemon? I cannot begin to understand what was going through the mind of the person who started the 'apple' story. As you see in these scriptures, he had to actually sit down and think about what to add to The Bible. And it would have been impossible for him to not know that he was changing the wording by identifying the 'forbidden fruit' as an apple, even though he quite clearly was ignorant to the symbolic nature of the fruit.

On a side note the apple with a bite taken out of it is coincidentally the Apple computer logo...interesting.

Adam also partook of this 'forbidden fruit.' Satan is a super-natural being possessing supernatural powers, thus he can appear to Adam and Eve as two different things (beings, entities) if he had wanted to. We don't know for sure as to what degree Adam partook of this fruit, we will see that Eve became pregnant from her doing so. She was impregnated and conceived by the serpent first, then she conceived a second time from Adam (next chapter [Gen 4:1]). Eve went on to bear twins (Cain and Abel).
